The Greensboro Scottish Country Dance Society Welcomes You!
Please come and join us!
What is Scottish Country Dancing anyway?
It is NOT Scottish Highland Dancing.
It is social dancing for men and women, related to square dancing, contra dancing, and other forms of dancing as a team.
Check this link for a more detailed explanation and history!
What is Scottish Country Dancing?
We meet every Tuesday at 7:30pm, September thru June, at
The Grange on Guilford School Rd.
(when coming from I 40, take Guilford College Rd north.
Take the first left after crossing Market Street- Lindley.
Take second right – Guilford School Rd.
The grange is near the end on the right.
Guilford School Rd does not really go through to Guilford College Rd)
By the way, the picture above is some of us at our special dance in November. On most Tuesdays evenings we are more casual!
